I think though, there has to be a ceiling somewhere. And the price raises are coming this year yet for the 2008 season. So does this tie in with the thread yesterday about the possibility of the NFL as we know it. One thing that thread discussed was if the salary cap was lifted and how owners like Jones and Snyder who had the money would get the players at any cost, thus forcing smaller market teams out of the business. So guess the question becomes will people continue to pay increasing prices to watch maybe fewer teams. Which also raises the issue of maybe there will be better teams because there will be more competition and only the best players will play. Just keeps getting more and more complicated doesnt it? |
