| 08 Season moved 90 minutes closer The NFL as agreed in principle to move the Thursday night opener to 7pm EST so as not to conflict with McCain's acceptance speach at the Republican National Convention. The game will most likely feature the defending SB Champion NY Giants, and one of their road opponents. Given that the game will now be starting at 4:00pm PST on a work day, you can almost guarantee it'll be against Seattle so the NFL can once again screw Seahawk fans!
