Re: Top 10 Most Badass NFL Players

Welcome to GoteamsGo, Omoko, and thanks for placing a link to GoTeamsGo on your site! I'm a big fan of Strahan, but I have to admit that I've never thought of him in these terms before. Great player, but seems to be a pretty clean cut, personable guy, don't you think?

I forgot to say welcome to the forum omoko.
Your list is ok, but I wish you had let TO off. He has changed his ways and is now gentle as a kitten.

Re: Top 10 Most Badass NFL Players

When I first read the title of this thread, the first - and only - name to come to my mind when I defined a pro football player as "Bad Ass" is/was...

Lawrence Taylor

I mean, again, without reading the content of the post or anything, I just thought jeesh, the ONE guy who always worried and bothered me whenever my Niners would play them was the "original" "LT"

Re: Top 10 Most Badass NFL Players

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for your opinions I think the term "badass players", unlike "best players" or "most successful players", is very subjective. So I'm not surprised that a lot of you don't agree with some of the players, included on the list. But anyway, I respect everyone's opinion

Not another one!
Ok, TO was crying because of the emotion involved in the game. Lots of athletes get emotional. I have seen other players who lost the big one with tears in their eyes on the bench. His mistake was doing it ahead of the media.
It was about blaming the loss on his quarterback, and saying the loss was the team's loss.

Did you see Moss's tears when they put him on a stamp or envelope or something? Now that is something to get emotional about.
It was about him, not the team.

Now I have to hide because here come the Pats fans and the anti-Owens gang.

I guess subjective means that Strahan can accept a gift "record breaking" sack from Favre and still end up #1... ...I personally think a 'badass" would turn down the gift and say, "No thanks, I can get my own record."

TO at #2....Love the man...he is colorful, and a Cowboy...but really now...#2???...I guess if the term means you did not get enough attention from mom while growing up and are now making up for it...then yeah...still, the best receiver in the league (sorry Randy)

What was Strahan supposed to do? On the field of play walk away from Favre just because the sack opportunity was too easy? Or go on a press conference and denounce the sack because the NFL would have counted it anyway.
