Cool AFL: Kats over Storms

Kats 66, Storm 50May 13, 2006

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Clint Stoerner threw four touchdown passes to lead the playoff-bound Nashville Kats to a 66-50 victory over the Tampa Bay Storm on Saturday night in the final regular-season game for both teams. Stoerner was 19-of-29 for 256 yards for the Kats (8-. Shane Stafford threw four touchdown passes for the Storm (7-9).

Anyone keeping up with the AFL?...The Orlando Predators usually do pretty well down here...their games packs them in...crowd has a good time (too good at times...stuff you can't show on live TV)...and Stoerner?..wasn't he a Cowboy back up at one time? Hey I rather play in the AFL than be out of football....

I haven't been keeping up with it too much this year, Gotham. Last year I actually played AFL fantasy football. Michael Bishop, late of the Kansas State Wildcats and one time cup-of-coffee QB with the Pats, was my QB. Some of those guys are awesome athletes. I saw that Jermaine Lewis, the ex-Raven, was also playing WR/LB for some team this season.

If you ever track it down and play, make sure you get a good QB and a good OS (offensive specialist). Those were far and away the two highest scoring positions on the team.

I have good news for you GothamDarkNight,

The Sandbox at "http://www.sandbox.com/fantasysportsgames offers AFL Fantasy Football. Unfortunately, it is not free and requires a minimal fee to enter.

Overall, it is still a fun fantasy league which you would like.

Cool Re: AFL: Kats over Storms

Arena football is a little boring on TV but is great to see in person. I haven't been to any NY Dragons games this year but I usually go to a couple a year. About 5 years ago I had seasons tix but then they moved the schedule from the summer to the spring and I had to give them up.
