| More talky time for Kornheiser??? As the sports media continues to privately discuss and debate the surprise decision by ESPN that sideline reporters Suzy Kolber and Michele Tafoya will be relieved of those specific duties in 2008, rumors are rampant that the move was the result of at least a management desire to create more talky time for Tony Kornheiser or at most a move by Kornheiser to clear out two of the voices that were cluttering up the broadcast. ProFootballTalk.com -- The Best Pro Football Scoop on the Internet Hmmm I kind of liked those two gals.

| Re: More talky time for Kornheiser??? Don't really understand the move - they need the sideline reporters to report on injuries, etc. Kornheiser is bad enough but I thought anytime they got celebs in the booth the broadcast would come to a roaring standstill - I mean, what really was the point in a 20-minute interview with Russell Crowe????? |

I got so frustrated during that game. Its like would you please shut up about Crowe and get back to the game?? There are shows just for celebrity talk and MNF is NOT one of them. |

| Re: More talky time for Kornheiser??? Couldn't agree more - 99% of the time the celebs were there just to promote a tv show, movie, etc., which doesn't belong in a football broadcast.... |
