If I may chime in I wanted to see perfection and than just may be some were watching because it's the Super the greatest American event.

I'd say the Super Bowl does big numbers because it reels in the non-sports fans and the casual sports fans.

I think most casual fans watched to see 19-0.

I think it was a 50/50 mix. Half wanted to see the 19-0, the other half wanted the Pats to go down. Either way you look at it, history was made.

I think that's fairly accurate. I'm sure there were Pats fans and Giants haters watching as well, but you've gotta admit that New England these days has a lot in common with the Yankees - a lot of people out there like to see them fail. Success breeds contempt.

I'd say it was probably 60-40 against the Pats, but that's just an uneducated guess.
