IF New England wins.

Brady has a real good chance. For some reason, though, I keep going back to Maroney. I'm expecting him to have a huge game. For the Giants, I'm probably leaning towards either Eli or Burress as the guys with the best chance of taking home honors should New York pull off the upset.

ok just what does that mean

i think we agree .... all things being equal, Brady will win .... only because the QB always does when there is no clear standout

so ... if everyone has basically their average game ... just what kind of day does Maroney have to have to win ?

does 120 rushing yards and 2 TD's get it ?

I guess it depends how everyone else does. 120 yards and 2 TDs gets it for Maroney if Brady throws for 200-250 yards and 2 TDs, I think.

Re: Super Bowl MVP

maybe the sleeper pick that shouldnt be such a surprise is Kevin Faulk

i could see him having a huge game .... he gets his hands on the ball so many times during the game ..... rushing, receiving and returning ...... a couple cuts here and breaks there and he is a hero

75 rushing yards .... 75 return yards .... 2 TD's ..... that would be an MVP type line

Re: Super Bowl MVP

For the Giants to win, the MVP is going to have to be Jacobs. He is going to need a big day to keep the ball away from the Patriots.

Re: Super Bowl MVP

i was reading an article about the Super Bowl MVP's and do you think if they made the MVP award available for a group of players, the Pats O-line or their linebackers would get it?

Re: Super Bowl MVP

I think the MVP will be Mike Vrabel, he will get a few sacks, a lot of tackles and TD catch.

You know, it's funny you bring him up. I was just wondering what it would take for Vrabel to win MVP. Lets say he gets 11 tackles, 2 sacks, forces a turnover (either INT or fumble) and scores a TD on offense. Is that enough?

Depends on what Brady or Moss does, it probably is.
