Would the 2007 Dolphins have gone 1-15 with Tom Brady at QB?

Okay, so Brady went 16-0 on the Patriots...question is, what would be have done on the 2007 Dolphins?...my guess is 6-10 or 7-9 at best...

This is fun to imagine. Brady qbing the Dolphins.
Maybe 3-13. Running backs hurt, defense hurt, the only decent receiver, Chamber, left. Have I missed anything???

Hold on there a minute, dude. I am not ready to throw him to the wolves. He never really had a chance nor did he have anything to work with.
All he had was bad luck.

overrated. He is a coordinator at best...plus he took freakin Ted Ginn Jr in the draft and then Beck in the second round...how does that not suck?...and he stuck to the injured prone Greene...sucks...with a captial S....

Yeah, I think Bette hit this pretty close. Brady would've been good for 2, maybe 3 more wins, but the team just had too many other flaws.

If he played for the Dolphins the cast on his foot would be masking an actual injury now.

I think if they had a better QB they would have won at least six games. 6 of their losses were by about 3 point. A better QB could have pulled those out.

No, they would've been 7-9 or 8-8

Re: Would the 2007 Dolphins have gone 1-15 with Tom Brady at QB?

If the "better quarterback" got the same protection that their own got, what would it matter? Tom brady is allowed by the Pats' line to stand back there all day and pick a receiver. Do you think he would have the same luxury on the Dolphins? He hates getting hit as much, if not more now that he hasn't, as the next fellow.

8-8? Are you kidding? No way one player - not even Tom Brady - makes this a .500 team instantly. Way too many other problems. Like legend says, odds are with the Miami offensive line, he wouldn't last the season anyway. Not to mention that he really wouldn't have the playmakers to throw to, and would have little running game to fall back on. 3-13 or 4-12, tops.

Re: Would the 2007 Dolphins have gone 1-15 with Tom Brady at QB?

Very much agreed. One player does not make a team. Tom Brady s a great QB but not without protection and receivers. If the Dolphins had more to offer they would have won a couple of those three point loss games. Does anyone remember when Michael Jordon first joined the Bull's ??? Massive numbers for him but losses for the team.

Yeah i still think they would have. Its a team sport, and you need more than 1 or 2 good players to make a diffrence
