Giants: Tougher than the rest??

The Giants grit will overcome the Pats talent in the Super Bowl.
Against Green Bay, the Giants were clearly the better team, more resilient, harder hitting.
The cold that was supposed to infuse the Packers with strength, and weaken the Giants--that brutal -24 wind chill was brushed aside by the Giants.
The Pats look tough, but lately they also look beatable.

A lot of people, me included, have been discounting the Giants. But the Giants have fought their way up to the top.
The Pats have been up there all the while, but I think the writer is correct, they have been slipping down the hill a little.

Not often that we agree but I will admit that my boyz aren't as strong and vibrant as they were in the beginning of the season. It really seems like they play a mediocre game for the first half but somehow manage to come out in the 2nd half and stay strong when the opposition slides. No question that Manning and company will come with guns a blazing. If they lose they lose the Superbowl. If they win, not only are they the champions but they will have slayed the dragon. I'll still root for the Pat's but I honestly believe, unless the Pat's kick butt in the first half, that this will be a game that goes right down to the wire.

I wouldn't put it past the Giants to pull of the biggest upset in NFL history!

you know how these manning-brady events go. it always comes down to who gets the ball last. funny how i can say that now and not have to specify which manning i'm talking about

Include me too. I think I picked them to lose in every game they played, in the playoffs. Not because I don't like them, or wanted to put them down, I just honestly didn't think they would win. I can't possibly conceive them winning against the Patriots, but I hope I'm wrong.

That's true, both in terms of winning the Super Bowl and beating the Giants this year. But I like New York to definitely give them one hell of a fight!
