Best Backup in the NFL??

whilst watching the Seahawks/Redskins game and thinking about the Titans/Chargers game tomorrow, it got me thinking about who the best backup(s) are in the NFL right now?

off the top of my head i can think that the 2 best running backs in the league, Alexander and Thomlinson, have 2 excellent backups who would be starters anywhere else in Maurice Morris and Micheal Turner.

but who really is the best backup...in any position...in the NFL?

Turner definitely is up there, as is Morris. I've always been high on Charlie Batch as a backup QB in Pittsburgh too. Who else... I'll have to think.

I'm going to say Todd Collins just to really tee off Goth.

Tom Brady has to be the ultimate back-up.
And of course Tony Romo.
How about Najeh Davenport? Isnt he Parker's backup?

Chester Taylor, RB in Minnesota is pretty good.

Yeah, great pick Empire. I'm sort of embarrassed I forgot about him 'cause I'm really high on the kid. I'll never understand why Baltimore let him go.

Fargas did alright for himself this year as a backup to Rhodes and Jordan. Ryan Grant would be another one. He was backup to several RBs, but ended up taking the job.

What about Derrick Ward, too. That is, when he's not injured.

I'd argue that between Ward and Brandon Jacobs, Ward was the more complete back.
