2008 Top WR Free-Agents

Randy Moss, UFA, New England Patriots
With the help of quarterback Tom Brady, Moss has absolutely dominated opposing defenses this season. He looks to be better than the Randy Moss of old, and his 91 receptions for 1,393 yards bears it out.

Bernard Berrian, UFA, Chicago Bears
Berrian was able to put together a decent season in ’06 and even with considerable quarterback issues in Chicago, he has been able to tally 920 yards and four touchdowns in ’07.

Patrick Crayton, UFA, Dallas Cowboys
With 516 receiving yards and four touchdowns in 2006, Patrick Crayton showed the Cowboys that they may have found Terry Glenn’s eventual replacement.

Bryant Johnson, UFA, Arizona Cardinals
Johnson flew under the radar once again this season, but those in the know consider him fairly talented.

Drew Carter, UFA, Carolina Panthers
Carter hasn’t racked up yards by any means, but he has tended to be a decent passing weapon in the red zone. Carter has good size and runs fairly good routes.

Andre' Davis UFA Houston Texans
The Virginia Tech product hasn’t had the chance to play a whole lot during his career until an early season injury to Andre Johnson opened the door to more playing time.

Justin Gage UFA Tennessee Titans

Devery Henderson, UFA, New Orleans Saints
Henderson has struggled to build on the strong 2006 season, as have most of the Saints’ players.

L.J. Smith, TE, UFA, Philadelphia Eagles
Statistically, Smith is having probably having his worst season as a pro, and it’s mainly because of injury.

Eric Johnson, TE, UFA, New Orleans Saints
Johnson had a decent first game with his new team but failed to follow it up the rest of the season.

Other Free Agent Wide Receiers
Antonio Chatman UFA Cincinnati Bengals
Keary Colbert UFA Carolina Panthers
Terrance Copper UFA New Orleans Saints
Malcom Floyd RFA San Diego Chargers
Doug Gabriel UFA Oakland Raiders
D.J. Hackett UFA Seattle Seahawks
Az-Zahir Hakim UFA Miami Dolphins
Taylor Jacobs UFA Washington Redskins
Jerome Mathis RFA Houston Texans
Samie Parker UFA Kansas City Chiefs
David Patten UFA New Orleans Saints
Marcus Robinson UFA Detroit Lions

Other Free Agent Tight Ends
Stephen Alexander UFA Denver Broncos
Bryan Fletcher UFA Indianapolis Colts
John Gilmore UFA Chicago Bears
Marcus Pollard UFA Seattle Seahawks
Ben Troupe UFA Tennessee Titans
Jermaine Wiggins UFA Jacksonville Jaguars
Kris Wilson UFA Kansas City Chiefs

2008 NFL Free Agent WRs

Re: 2008 Top WR Free-Agents

Can New England get a deal done with Moss? What about Dallas and Crayton?

The guy to keep an eye on here is Bryant Johnson - a little overshadowed in Arizona, but a kid with a lot of talent.

Re: 2008 Top WR Free-Agents

if the titans dont resign Justin Gage, although i would expect them to becuase he is the kind of big, physical target that Vince Young needs, he could be a suprisingly good pick up for another team in free agency but at this time it has not been said whether he will stay or go, although his performances towards the end of the season have definatly benefited him

The Cowboys already got a deal done with Crayton, the Bears need to re-sign Berrian or Bryant Johnson.

trust me. randy moss would stay in new england if he was paid in bubblegum and pepsi. dallas would be foolish to let crayton go .its weird cuz it seems like teh ball only goes to TO and witten. and the saints should keep devery henderson. its not his fault that sean payton only wants to run gadget plays and all that gimmicky ****. instead of puttin the game on drew brees's proven arm

You think? Hmm, I guess we'll see.

I'd think most guys would, and Moss has behaved this year, but I still have my doubt about him. When push comes to shove, I think'll he'll be saying "show me the money!"
