The Patriots are 16-0, but do not have much charisma...which team in NFL history had the highest level of fan appeal?

Hmm... probably the 80s Niners. Montana, Rice and company were the epitome of "cool" back in the day.

I think they would make my top 10 list...but I still would not put them first...I mean, you want col? Namath and the Jets in the upstart AFL...with white shoes...that was cool...Dallas (71-7 Steelers (74-79) had a lot of appeal...Chicago back in the day...or the Packs and their freakin Frozen Tundra...they got to rate.

Depends on what you define as cool I guess.
Most certainly not the Pats. They have to be one of the most obnoxious teams ever. (They can put that up there with their perfect record) Welker is about the only one I can tolerate.
I always thought the "Greatest Show on Turf" was a classy elite team. Warner came out of nowhere. But I am not sure elite comes under the same heading as cool.

I would have to agree. When they had Faulk, they were fun to watch. They could score whenever tehy wanted, and they looked like they were having a blast doing it.

I would also have to give the early 80s Browns a vote. The Kardiac Kids were media darlings around here.
