NFL to plant trees, make Glendale Superbowl 'green'

The National Football League is going to plant thousands of trees in Arizona forests before the February Super Bowl in Glendale. Officials say the planting will help offset the greenhouse gas emissions from the big game on February 3rd. The league also plans to power University of Phoenix Stadium and the adjacent NFL theme park with "clean" energy sources. Their goal is to make the Super Bowl as 'green' as possible. -- KNXV-TV (ABC 15) Phoenix
