The NFL today announced the rosters for the 2007 Pro Bowl in Hawaii.

The Dream Team from the AFC will have an offense led by Tom Brady, LT, Reggie Wayne, Antonio Gates and Randy Moss.

While the NFC will be led by 97 year old Brett Farve and his offensive weapons will be Adrian Petterson, Larry Fitzgerald and T.O.

now im obviously an AFC man myself but can we already see a lopsided game here??
and of everyone who made the cut, is there anyone who shouldnt be there? or anyone who should definatly be making the trip?

i believe it is done by fan vote ...... so we cant blame the NFL

nfl.com just posted another article about the players they believe COULD have gone but do point out that with limited roster spots were these players really good enough to get in....

i think one of the biggest upsets is Derek Anderson

Where is Mario Williams? That guy is playing the best of any Defensive End this year. I believe he leads the NFL in sacks with 13. He has been very disruptive.

Man, I can't believe I am upset that an NC State alumni did not make the pro bowl.

yeah a lot of people are making the argument about Williams not being in there but i think there are 3 factors that are keeping him out of the Pro Bowl Roster:
1. He plays for the Texans...
2. The AFC defensive end spot is hard to take and even though he is good and his stats show he is a good player i dont think he can be there ahead of Allen, Vanden Bosch and Taylor (well maybe Taylor)
& 3. Consistency, i think he has done very well in some games but i dont think he has played consistently well all season

I just don't see how Taylor made it over Williams. The Dolphins are horrible. And I know he has the numbers, but they have been beat bad this year on a lot of occasions. On 8 occasions, the teams they have played have put up more than 20 points against them and 7 of those times it was 30 points or more scored against them.

I dont think anyone has noticed this yet and i only just noticed it today but take a look at who the starting Free Safety is for the NFC team...

i think it is an INCREDIBLE testement to the guy and truely an honor for him to be given not only a place on that Pro Bowl team but also the starting position

But hey Gates has sucked it the last few games...I mean he had some fantastic games this year, but he has disappeared for a few...I would have put in Gonzo instead.

Pro Bowl voting is turning into a joke. Too many glaring omissions (like this one) to be taken seriously.
