CBS. their high-def looks the best. and you got some of the greatest players and coaches of all time as commentators with marino, sharpe, cower, esiason and james brown in the studio and phill simms announcing at the games

but john madden is also funny to listen to on sunday night

I like FOX the best, but that might be because the I seem to watch the Bears there every single week.

Re: Who Covers the NFL the Best?

I dislike some of the FOX teams, namely Buck.

CBS is more professional, but I rarely watch them.

Madden/Michaels are good but not the best.

ESPN's colormen crew is awful. Tirico is good though.

Bryant Gumbel on the NFL Network is far and away the worst football play-by-play announcer out there.....

No question. No doubt. Not even Gumbel's own brother, wife, children, mother, father, etc. could argue this point.

Re: Who Covers the NFL the Best?

I went with Fox, but truth be told, there are good and bad on each of the networks. None of them have been stellar.

I like the camer work and coverage on the NFL Netowrk, if they could just get the Fox guys that would be awesome.
