Who do you folks think is the most overrated player in the NFL?

im not sure he is the "most" .... but i think he has to be in the discussion

he has never accomplished anything of any real worth, and yet they kept on trotting him out there ......... the "experts" always seemed to say 1/4 - 1/3 of the field was unavailable to them on passing routes because Chad couldnt make the throws .. yet they kept on trotting him out there

While we were talking about cornerbacks a few posts back did anyone see how bad Champ Bailey got burned by James Jones on monday night? I mean the rookie made him look silly! Anyone think Bailey is a tad overrated or did he just get caught really bad on national TV on that play?

Didn't see the play in question, but it could've been that he was counting on safety help that wasn't there. I dunno.

Hes been spectacular this year and hes a great QB but I do think hes overated, He gets most of the credit for the pats superbowl wins and thats not right, vinateri won those, I think Carson Palmer or Tony Romo could have the same kind of numbers if they switched places with Tom and vice versa, If you put him on another team like the bengals he wouldnt be having a stellar year like hes having..

I'd like to say Champ Bailey but I haven't watched him play the game in a few years.

It's just everyone calls him the only real shutdown corner in the game.

Elsewhere, Roy Williams of the Cowboys. The guy is on an island out there when in pass coverage.

Dre Bly and Champ Bailey both got burned by young wide receivers Monday night. I think it was just an off night for them. Have to watch them again.

Afraid I agree about Roy Williams. He always goes to the Pro Bowl and I am not sure why.

Chad Pennington overrated?? Dont think so. Never seemed to me he was rated high at all for a long time.

Eli Manning was but he seems to be picking up the pace a bit.

Chad Johnson seems to be causing more trouble than he's worth these days.

Below average deep threat?... the man has wheels and blows the door off most DBs out there still...

I have seen him catch up to Crayton from behind pass him and throw a block for him...and that pile of touchdown he has every year...find me three Bear receivers that combined can keep up...overrated...geez...give it up.
