Help I need to have a contest to come up with our schools fight song. We are a public secondary school.

I do not even know where to begin... any ideas, anyone?

we are a brand new middle school in Texas. This year will be our second. We house 6, 7, and 8th grade.

I dont quite get it. You need a fight song or a contest to get a fight song? And yes, you need a mascot or symbol. What is it?
