Yes, yes they are, but they haven't had any real competition, the Chargers are not a good team this year and the Eagles and Giants are so so, and of course Minnesota sucks.

They're good and they're deffinetly a playoff team but I do think they have a bit more to prove if they want to be taken as a serious Top 2 team, because along with the Cowboys they're the only undefeated team in the NFC.

In the case of the Chargers, when was the last time any team in the NFL went from a 14-2 record in the prior year to 1-3 for the first 4 games the succeeding year?!? Last time I checked, San Diego appeared to have the same core of players they had from last year but there is one BIG difference between the 2007 team from the 2006 team: the head coach!!!

You can't tell me that the changing of a HC can cause this much turmoil in the club? I mean, if you look at Dallas, they lost their coach and appear to be doing better... Pittsburgh's not exactly doing too bad either, in spite of their loss this weekend... and other teams that have new HCs. What is it about San Diego? As much as I respect Norv Turner, perhaps some coaches are meant to coach HALF the team instead of the whole team???

You make a valid point on the packers still have a bit more to improve. Obviously they are utilizing a one sided offense because they do not have a run game, and that has to change in order to keep progressing like they are. But they have already beaten 2 huge playoff contenders from last year and have the longest winning streak in the NFL right now 8-0 going into last season. I am the first to admit I am shocked at how this season is starting, but with Brett Favre at the helm anything is possible
