| Donovan McNabb on Black and White Quaterbacks Donovan McNabb has recently commented on HBO that he feels black Quaterbacks in the NFL are under more scrutiny than white Quaterbacks...comments which were quickly rejected by titans QB Vince Young. he stood by these comments when asked about them after an Eagles practice yesterday. he suggested that black Quaterbacks are treated differently in the eyes of the media and have to 'do a little extra' all the time. he mentioned that big time QB's such as Peyton Manning and Tom Brady were in the eye of the media but not in the same way black QB's are. he also went on to compare himself as a runnning QB to Steve Young as a running QB and how different the media showed them both now from the sounds of it McNabb is presenting a pretty poor argument. i would think that he is simply trying to hide the fact he team is at 0-2 and he is possibly getting much of the blame for it...but does this argument hold any grounds? or is McNabb simply trying to 'clutch at straws' in an attempt to get the media off his back for the teams (arguably) poor performance at the beginning of the season? McNabb refuses to back down from comments

Wasn't Limbaugh's argument then something to the affect that McNabb was given the de facto title of "Great Quarterback" because he was black. Now Donovan is claiming all black quarterbacks are treated "differently" solely because of their race? Sounds kind of paranoid to me. I wonder if, when the other team is in a huddle, I wonder if McNabb thinks they're in there talking about him?
