Quick, who should be the NFL poster boy for stupidity, Simpson or Vick?

I like both players, and since I can't swear at other members on this forum, that will be my statement.

Not a good comparison....Want to compare...Compare Rae Carruth to Simpson. Both killed human beings....And neither of them are stupid, but highly arrogant.

Agreed. Not a good comparison. Too many differences. In the NFL, not in the NFL. Killed animals, killed humans. One was about money/entertainment, the other about love/anger.

I totally disagree BOTH ARE STUPID! Ending a human life is the most henious crime but intentionally ending any life of any kind without a good reason is STUPID! Both cause loss and grief to the rest of us.

I am assuming you arent saying that the rest are thugs. Some are decent people. But yeah, these two dont exactly endear athletes to the general public.

I think I will go with OJ for the stupid poster boy. I mean, he was going to write a book about "What if...."
Vick is just an arrogant thug. Or at least he was. Time will tell if he will change.

Look there are thugs in every walk of life but sports has more than thier fair share of them.

Stupid... IMNSVHO that prize goes to Vick.

He could have used his fame and fortune to improve himself and to bring his boyz from da hood up to a socially acceptable level, or go on alone if they wouldn't change.

However, he brought the hood with him, kept his old friends and apparently embraced their bad habits when they didn't change. From what I read about this sordid saga, the dog fighting and other activities were originally begun by his buddies and Vick back them then became personally involved, and was rewarded when his "good buddies" rolled on him.

Now he pays the price (a whole lotta price, as a matter of fact). THAT, once more IMNSVHO is S-T-U-P-I-D.

Simpson, OTOH, again, IMHO is a sick, sick, sick individual. I'm not sure if he psychopath or just your run-of-the-mill sociopath. One thing is for sure, if you wanted a picture of narcissism, it'd look just like O.J. That, as far as I'm concerned, is a bit beyond stupid, it's an illness, but make no bones about it, the symptoms of this sickness are something he is TOTALLY responsible for!

But I could be very wrong about the whole thing, too...
