| Re: Longest Kickoff Return In NFL History what i find funny about that is that most players wouldnt bring the ball out when they are 8 yards deep, he did and took a MAJOR risk and it could have gone VERY wrong but in the end hes gone down in history...funny how things work out

| Re: Longest Kickoff Return In NFL History Yeah, alex, you're right. I can imagine the New England coaches: "No no no no... I mean, yeah, go go go!" Ha ha! It brings to mind a line from the movie Major League, so to paraphrase, "Great kickoff return, don't ever do it again."

| Re: Longest Kickoff Return In NFL History I know i'm a Jets fan but this just aint that big a deal to me. Yeah it's a record and all but it just reeks of those late night ESPN college boys "plays of the day" and frankly those bore the snot out of me. Let him have his kick return. Hell since the Pats had spies videotaping the Jets plays he probably knew where the soft spot would be so to me again...not a big deal. Pretty soon were gonna need Cylon sleeper agents like on Battlestar Galactica. Imagine Lawrence Maroney being a robot who only THINKS he's a Patriot and then his programming kicks in realizes he's a Jet and then can't run against them at all and keeps fumbling when the teams meet!!! |
