The white Falcons jerseys with Vick's familiar red No. 7 printed on them will be put in bags and given to the Salvation Army. The title of ‘incredible athlete’ will be exchanged for ‘dark monster’, and worst of all, you may never get to do what you love ever again. It needs to sink in that all of the above may have happened already.
Think about it: Ricky Williams isn’t playing and isn’t given any love anymore because he loves to get the munchies. You, however, aren’t competing and showing the world the wonderful gift you’ve been blessed with because you’d rather kill dogs and watch innocent creatures suffer. Maybe you do feel terrible for what has happened and will offer additional condolences to anyone or anything you’ve hurt.

Can't they move the guy to some jail in the freakin Fiji islands so we don't have to read another freakin article on how he ☻☻☻☻ed his career away?...Where is Paris Hilton or Lohan when you need them?

On our local news last night, they showed where the local animal shelter has been recieving his jersey's to use as bedding for the animals. I think they said they have already gotten over 1000.

Now that is great to hear. If I had one, I'd use it to clean up my dogs occasional mishaps.

That's jsut going to produce a shortage of jerseys and in 25 years they will be a collectors item on e-Bay...

Let me jump on that bandwagon, too. Vick's case is creeping further and further away from being a football issue and is becoming more of a legal issue. The only thing left that's sports related is the forthcoming NFL suspension. Anything else is best left to discuss on a legal forum.

No question that it is now a legal issue but his suspension has yet to be dealt with. He'll beg for concurrent time. It will be up to the NFL to make the final decision on that one.
