| NFL Sunday Night Football - "Flexible Schedule" Plan The NFL has just revealed a new "flexible schedule" plan for weeks 10-15 and week 17 that will impact their Sunday Night Football broadcasts. Basically, what this means is that all Sunday games will be listed with start times of 1 p.m. or 4:05-4:15 p.m. EST to start with. Then, as playoff races start to heat up, the league will then pull whatever the "marquee matchup" is for the week and put it in primetime. Anyone else think that, if this had come a year earlier, Monday Night Football would've gotten good enough ratings to stay on ABC? |
