so is vince going to be struck down by the NFL curse or will he push through it and defy the odds like he has done in most situations since he was drafted??

i think to much of an emphasis is put on 'the curse' and based on the past incidents when players have suffered from 'the curse' there have been varied problems. some players have got injured, some have missed personal milestones but one thing people seem to forget is that these players are on the cover for a reason. most of them have had the best season of their career the season before they were on the cover and thats why they were there. how many players have managed to be constantly great throughout their career having back to back incredible seasons..for example Peyton Manning had a season a few years back when he broke Dan Marino's record for TD's in a season, the following year he didnt come close to that but that wasnt becuase of the curse becuase he wasnt on the cover of Madden, it was simply to difficult to emulate the performance of the season before.

i mean we know these guys are talented but we cant expect them to break their career records season after season and when a player plays well enough to get put on the madden cover its usually becuase he is the best player in the league
