| Re: NFL Expansion 2010: LA, Orlando, San Antonio, Portland Quote:
Logically San Antonio and Los Angeles are the two places that should and will get NFL franchises. LA because of the tremendous size of the market and San Antonio because it is a huge football hotbed that is desperate for a team of its own. The days of SA being a suburb of Dallas are long gone. San Antonio has grown by leaps and bounds over the years and is way too big to be without its own team. Plus San Antonio has a Dome ready for play at any time and a local government and a Governor who are behind the movement to get a team. LA and SA will get teams soon. You can count on it. |

| Re: NFL Expansion 2010: LA, Orlando, San Antonio, Portland Well it might be nice to get a team in San Antonio but man I live in San Antonio and I don't see us getting a team. We have tried and tried for over 20 years to get a team and it never happened. Also the Alamodome is not ready for football like you said. The NFL is a corporate and media investing buisness and they want luxury suites and the Alamodome just don't have any. I agree that San Antonio needs and wants a Pro Football team and we can support one but the only way that will happen is the City of San Antonio has to build a New shiny still in the plastic state of the art for this year stadium. Which will cost us close to 500 million to even 1 billion dollars to compete with the cowboys new fortress. I don't think you can get the people of San Antonio to fork over a new tax to build a new stadium while the economy is close to crashing. And LA, yea right! The NFL will not put a team there. Every time they put a team in LA the team packs up and moves to a different location in Calafornia and I don't think the NFL wants to see a NFL team move to Sacramento this go around. But... I still agree that LA is one of the top cities to get a team even though they don't need one. The NFL in my opinion needs to just move Buffalo Bills to LA and the Detroit Lions to San Antonio. That would stop everyone talking about expansion the NFL can't do another expansion. It would screw the schedules up and the conferences and the divisions and the date of the Super Bowl maybe moving to March. To many things that the NFL would screw up in a Expansion. Just move some teams that are in cities that don't care about there team and move them to cities that are dieing for one. To simple. |

| Re: NFL Expansion 2010: LA, Orlando, San Antonio, Portland fact is we will once again see LA without a team because LA always gets screwed in the NFL. Know what though? Im pretty alright not having a professional football team in LA. I mean, i still wouldnt go anyways if we did, i'd rather watch on my Hi-Def tv (get better angles than being at the game and no roudy annoying fans). We got my Trojans and my Lakers so I'm good.

| Re: NFL Expansion 2010: LA, Orlando, San Antonio, Portland honestly it probably won't work out and here's why. City traffic. Too many cities control the zoning of where buildings or sports events can be held and there's too many in Los Angeles county. You have the USC games in downtown LA, Laker games, Clippers games, LA Kings, then you got USC basketball, UCLA basketball and then you have Pasadena with the rose bowl where the bruins play football. That's the reason why the super bowl hasn't been played in pasadena since the Cowboys vs. Bills, cause the zoning. People don't want traffic or noise. It's become too much a private property city. Not to mention Dodger games too. |

| Re: NFL Expansion 2010: LA, Orlando, San Antonio, Portland If they have more expansion teams, I hope they will expand the playoffs to include two more wild cards for each conference, eliminate the bye week, and the division winners host the games. |
