Yep, you did say Toronto. My bad.

Don't poke too much fun at Bama fans - they love their football down there, and I'd love to see them get a pro team.

Put it in Montgomery, Tuscaloosa, wherever. I guarantee you Alabama would support a team better than L.A. would.

Orlando has a hard time supporting things...including the Magic...which is sad. I actually remember (barely) the WFL team, the USFL team (The Renegades -with Joey Walters and Reggie Collier), and later the Orlando Thunders with the lime green shirts...though the Predators draw well...though a lot of girls flash their tops at those games not family fun...oh, and they had an XFL team...that was more wild than the AFL.

I guess we have had 5 total franchises over the years...maybe the next one will stick.

Tampa soon will be left behind as Orlando is growing rapidly. Dont be jealous of Orlando. Tampa cant even fill a baseball stadium, they need to go to Orlando to play at Wide world of sports disney.

Orlando Predators have excellent support Avg >12,000 per game. Orlando Rage XFL averaged 50,000 + per game. Magic since Shaq left have not been the same, but the Bulls since Jordan were not the same until this year. Dwight + Darko + Billups + Ariza + Pierce (or Carter) will pack the house in the new Magic arena

Counting freebie tickets?...LOL...and yeah the Preds draw well...but this town has too much to do and too much sunshine to support a sports team as they should...to many nights I see maybr 10,000 at the O-rena for a Magic game...

Re: New Football League Starting

i think this league could have something else very interesting to deal with ....... the draft

how would it work if they hold a draft before the NFL does ...... which of course i think they should

do they go to some of the players Mel Kiper says are going out of the NFL's 1st round and tell them they can start right off in the new league ?

i think that could take a good bit out of the NFL

The new O rena, with Dwight, Coach Donavan, and Paul Piercer or Carter will pack the house.

MAybe Donovan could turn it around. But Pierce or Carter? Why should they be any different (fan wise) then Hill and McGrady?
