| Re: 2007 Monday Night Football Schedule Right now, you still can't say which teams will be good or what injuries will occur and what not. But the great rivalries are here...Baltimore Cincy, Washington Philly, Indy Jax, Baltimore Pitt, New Orleans ATL, Minnesota Chicago and Denver San Diego. |

| Re: 2007 Monday Night Football Schedule There was always something about Monday Night football. You knew the season was really here when you finally tuned into it. Only thing is, Al and John were a big part of it. So maybe in the future the new Monday night football will be Sunday night football. |

| Re: 2007 Monday Night Football Schedule i went for Sunday Night football for 2 reasons. the first is that its exciting during the season when your watching one game but your keeping an eye on the others becuase they may effect your playoff position or divisional position and also becuase its a nice build up to the week, you wait 6 days to watch football and then all the games come at once on one day and you have sorta 'calmed down' by monday night and secondly on sundays you can watch your game first and get all the excitment and tension out and then have a nice relaxing afternoon/evening watching someone else. alternativly you can get the heart going by watching the first set of games and then getting settled in to your game in the afternoon/evening

| Re: 2007 Monday Night Football Schedule but the thing im curious about is whether the NFL chooses these games for the entertainment value or the rivalry value? i mean last season, some can argue this point, but the titans were one of the most entertaining teams in the NFL right? they may not go out this season and get a 16-0 record but they are an entertaining team to watch, i doubt if they had played like they have done in previous seasons they would have been on MNF for 2 nights. and i think this point is proven when they have us playing against the Broncos and the Saints who are 2 very entertaining teams as well |

| Re: 2007 Monday Night Football Schedule Quote:
i would have loved to see VY on MNF but no one knew when or if he was going to play thats a reason MNF needs a floating schedule like SNF has |

| You just figure they would want the NY market in a game. More viewers - more advertising revenue....Individual matchups aside, the MNF is much more exciting for me, because by Sunday night, I'm usually burned out for the day and the game isn't as enjoyable. But on Monday, getting back to the grind can be tough and I always have that game to look forward to. |

| Re: 2007 Monday Night Football Schedule Like I said, I think there is something exciting about Monday night football. But sometimes games look really good on paper and then when the time comes--yeesh, I remember a Cowboy Redskins game a while back. They need the flexible schedule. With Al and John on Sundays, the flexible schedule, yep----The new Monday night football will be Sunday night football! |
