Some of you may go to church and then lunch, some may sleep in. But when noon rolls around you know its football time. What would this world be like if the NFL didnt exist and you couldnt watch your favorite team or players on sunday?

Simon, if you were an altar boy, church services were in the am. Super bowl is late in the day.. Try again.

I dont even want to THINK about fall without the NFL. I go to church, come home and pop a previously prepared meal in the oven, read the paper and turn on the pregame shows. I usually shut the tv off during one game. Erma Bombeck said a wife should be able to declare a spouse legally dead if he watched 9hrs. of pro football. I am scared to death my husband is going to do that so I shut it off for a while. Sometimes a grandson watches with and we order pizza or subs. I tell you, life does NOT get better than that. I suffer serious withdrawal pains after February and between the NFL channel and this forum, I survive.

No, never. I must have had the wrong denomination. I didnt think any of the churches with altar boys had services at 4:30 pm.

Unless you are just pulling my leg. Then I hope your team loses all year!
