| Re: Ask The Experts ... NFL Let's say the Greasers score a touchdown but the Crows block the extra point try and run it back, apparently headed for 2 points. But the runner stops on the 10 yard line and drop kicks the ball over the crossbar between the uprights. How is it scored? |

| Re: Ask The Experts ... NFL According to NFL rules, "The defensive team never can score on a try. As soon as defense gets possession or the kick is blocked or a touchdown is not scored, the try is over." So whether they run the ball in the end zone or kick it through the uprights, it's still zero points.

| Re: Ask The Experts ... NFL well from what i understand the reasoning behind it is a bit sketchy but here goes: during the 1998 season Bud Adams Founder/Owner/Chairman/President/CEO of the then short lived Tennessee Oilers announced he would be going along with fans requests to change the teams name just a season after the team was moved from Texas to Tennessee, in order to better assosiate the team with the people of Nashville and to better distance itself from its texas past, as well as to coincide with the team moving into their new stadium. Adams did stipulate however that the team would retain the heritage of the Oilers, the teams records, Hall Of Famers would be known by both teams etc..

| Re: Ask The Experts ... NFL According to Wikipedia.com, "The designated 'home team' alternates between the NFC team in odd-numbered games ( the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XLI in February 2007 ), and the AFC team in even-numbered games ( the New England Patriots in Super Bowl XLII in February 2008 ). This alternation was initiated with the first Super Bowl, when the Green Bay Packers of the NFL were the designated home team." Super Bowl - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia |

| Re: Ask The Experts ... NFL you see i dont see why they dont do it in the same way as the do the World Series...whoever wins the previous All Star game, so atleast that way the players can atleast make it look like they care when they are playing in the Pro Bowl? obviously people will argue this for different reasons but what would happen if the Pats were in the position they are now, 17-0 and had to go to the Super Bowl as the visitors? |
