Re: Ask The Experts ... NFL

ok what would happen if a draft pick doesnt sign for a team, i mean with all the on going stuff with JaMarcus Russel, if the Raiders didnt offer him what he wanted that means he goes into free agency right?

No, if he's not signed in time for next season's draft, he just re-enters the draft.

Who's gonna want an unsigned, non-playing quarterback to endorse their products?

as Lynch, Russell and six other top NFL draft picks ran speed and agility drills on a 50-yard practice field before lining up for hours of pictures for a Nike photo shoot.

IR (injured reserve) ..... a player placed on this list is unable to play for the remainder of the season

PUP:
Quote:
A rule in the NFL which allows teams to designate players as "Physically Unable to Perform" or "PUP". Once they are designated as such, they are prohibited from practicing with the team. They can, however, rehabilitate and participate in team meetings. If a player begins training camp on the PUP list, they can be moved to the active roster at any time, even after one practice. A player is not allowed to be placed on the PUP list if they start training camp on the active roster.

Re: Ask The Experts ... NFL

Hey Simple can you explain to me whay after getting caught cheating filming thier opponent [GreenBay] that the Patriots continue to cheat? The JETS incident finally brought a spotlight on the problem. So what is this story about them having special microphones in thier helments? Just how deep dark and devious is the dirtyness that has been going on in the Patriots locker room?

Yeah, simon. How about that? Inquiring minds want to know.

Since 2001, how many 0-2 teams have made it to the playoffs?

I don't know about since 2001, but push it back a year to 2000 and USA Today just ran this stat: "Only five teams (out of 59) since 2000 have rebounded from a 0-2 start" to make the playoffs. The odds certainly do not look for for winless teams heading into week 3.
