Free Agency: Which Team's Succeeded The Most?

I think you'd have to say that the Redskins have done the most in the off-season, signing key players to help on both sides of the ball. And they players they've signed aren't too shabby either. No player seems over paid, and no player seems to be a questionable signing.

So, which team do you think has done the best so far?

Right now its a tie between Washington and Cleveland.

Redskins - signing Randle El and Fauria, and trading for Brandon Lloyd, make this a potent offense. Archuletta is a good signing on D, too. Still need QB depth and help in the LB corps, though.

Browns - Bentley is one of if not the best player at his position in the NFL, and the team needed some O-line help. Jurevicius is a quality receiver who will fill the No. 2 role adequately. If they turn around and sign Willie McGinest as predicted, this will have been an excellent offseason for an improving team.

Re: Free Agency: Which Team's Succeeded The Most?

Here's an interesting counter-point on the Skins, from Yahoo! Sports columnist Charles Robinson.

Quote:
By all accounts, the Redskins overpaid for Randle El and Archuleta, committing $22 million in signing and roster bonuses to a pair of players who were considered wildly overrated free agents in many circles. Archuleta's deal – the richest pact for a safety in NFL history – will pay him an average of roughly $5 million per season, while Randle El's $11.5 million signing and roster bonuses – and $31 million total – are more lucrative than some contracts given to No. 1 receivers.
So what do you guys think. Did Washington get good value with Archuleta and Randle El, or did they overspend?
