Re: Super Bowl XLI Live Chat

MVP? Either Peyon or Addai. Peyton's been plenty good but he's not been spectacular. Same for Addai. Good solid performance by the whole Colts team is the reason they're winning.

Bears just look flat out tired on both offense and defense

1:56 to go. 12 point lead. Within FG range. Time to stick a fork in this baby. It's done !!!

Re: Super Bowl XLI Live Chat

Done deal. Would rather have seen Brady and the Pats there but this was good.

Re: Super Bowl XLI Live Chat

about damn time Manning won........ive been so sick of hearing how great he is and he hadnt won

now maybe the analysts can shut up and move on to someone new......they spent so much time with their lips firmly planted on Mannings butt

Re: Super Bowl XLI Live Chat

For three and a half quarters, this game was great. The Colts had a sloppy start and then the Bears played awful for the rest of the game.

What was Rex Grossman thinking on that Bob Sanders pick?

Re: Super Bowl XLI Live Chat

In my opinion, it was a disgrace for a professional sport to settle its ultimate championship in such terrible weather conditions. I know both teams had to play under the same set of circumstances, but it was pretty much a battle to determine which group was better "mudders" (horse racing parlance). It was equivalent to settling the Stanley Cup with the ice melting, the seventh game of the World Series in 25 degree temperatures, or the NBA Championship with wet spots all over the floor, caused by underlying ice causing condensation. Why do professional sports extend their regular seasons so much that they almost necessitate these fiascos?

Re: Super Bowl XLI Live Chat

ok, i was cheering for the Bears.....which was still tough to do after the SB where they whooped the Pats

but in a way im glad Manning got a ring.....maybe now people will move on and spend more time talking about other things
