The commercials this year were horrible. Even the one that GM did where they held a competition for anybody to pitch an idea and the winning idea ws made into a superbowl ad.
The one where all the guys start washing the car aw/o shirts. The other comercials that were the finalists were much better however they needed computer animation to make it soo it would have cost more money to make. They picked this one because it was cheapest, and the worst.

Debating Super Bowl commericals is not usually my thing, but I have to speak up against this one, disguised as an interview... Did you catch Kelvin Hayden in the post game with Deion Sanders where he said a Tiki Barber "Cadillac" commerical inspired his dream that he was going to run an INT in for a score?! If I'm not mistaken, this is product placement! I know he wasn't voted MVP, but does Hayden get a free Escalade for saying that?

Anyone have anything to report about possible 2008 Super Bowl ads? I keep hearing that some political candidates might pony up for Super Bowl ads, because the Tuesday after the game's Super Tuesday. Somehow I can't see them being able to afford it, though. What do you think?

Saw some previews...and we thinks me saw an ad with cavemans and budlight...but its not as funny as the FEDEX-Caveman one...or the Caveman-Geico ones...

There have been some good ones so far - the one with Shaq as a jockey, the one with the witch doctor, the one with the car running down Richard Simmons. Good stuff. Anyone have any favorites through the first half (and then some)?

Okay, my LEAST favorite? The Amp Energy Drink one with the guy dancing to jump start the car. That was disturbing.
