Eric Moulds: Could Be Cut

The AP is reporting that Bills WR Eric Moulds has turned down the team's proposal to restructure his contract, and could be cut as a result. Moulds has two years on his contract and would count $10.85 million against the cap next season. However, if Buffalo cuts him they would save over $5 million in cap space. He had 81 catches for 816 yards last year, but was also suspended one game for conduct detremental to the team.

Both sides are still trying to iron out a new deal, but if they fail, should the Bills keep him or cut him?

Re: Eric Moulds: Could Be Cut

The Bills have Lee Evans and Josh Reed ready to step up and take over the show. Evans is already able to put up the numbers that Moulds did in 2005. With the quarterbacks they have in Buffalo, why not ditch Moulds, take that 5 mil., and try to help improve the team where they need it - which is on offense.
