ack in college, I had a crush on a ton of guys. More specifically... football players. My sorority sisters and I knew a ton of guys on the team, and the number of crushes we had -- damn -- it got up to the infitity zone.

My #1 crush was on this one guy, Kenard. Man, could Kenard play some football. I always wanted to hook up with him, cause he always scored a touchdown in EVERY GAME. But, alas, he was seeing someone else.

However, one night, at a drunken party, I actually got a chance to speak with Kenard -- I was surprised he even knew my name. Butterflies (to say the least). We just hung out on the couch and he seemed sad. I couldn't understand, given that he ran for 112 yards, 1 TD, and 32 Receiving yards. Well... he was sad because he was having some trouble with his girlfriend. (Jazz music to my ears). But how could I somehow use this opportunity to let him know that (I) was interested. What should I say? And as luck would have it, he brought it up, said he had seen me before, said that I looked "fine" or "hot" or "delicious" -- he said something like that, I can't remember. But he did conclude by saying that he wanted to be with me. I said, "But you have a girlfriend." "I know", he said, but I wanna break up with her, I just can't, it's too tough. I urged him on -- "You can!!!!!! You can!!!!!"

Then -- we cut a deal.

He said that if he ran for 2 Touchdowns in every game the rest of the season, (6 games remaining), he'd dump his girlfriend and be with me. And, of course, we shook hands... DEAL!

Well... he did successfully score TWO touchdowns in every game, our college even went to the Outback Bowl. And, since a deal's a deal, he dumped his girlfriend, and we dated, for 2 months.

And it sucked. Why? I'll tell you why...

Because I now realize I sold myself short. 2 Touchdowns every game is good, but why have a crush on a guy who scores 2 Touchdowns a game, when you can have a crush on a guy who scored 4 Touchdowns a game, every week, and seems like he is determined to keep doing this again, and and again, and again, and again, and again.

I'm talking about my new crush LaDanian Tomlinson.

I spoke with my ex-sorority sisters about this, and they totally agreed. How could I have ever had a crush on Kenard, when someone like LaDanian is out there. I'm a hot girl, I need and deserve the best.

Most girls care that guys are nice to them, treat them well, cater to their self-esteem, buy them gifts, talk about their feelings, console them when they're not feeling 100%, but not me... all I care about is Touchdowns and Yardage.

Last year I couldn't get to sleep, Larry Johnson's rushing performance in the last few weeks of the season was enough to drive a girl BONKERS!!! And now, my new love is LaDanian Tomlinson. Many of my girlfriends ask me if I'd ever consider dating Peyton Manning, Tom Brady or other successful quarterbacks. I tell them "Perhaps." But one thing's for sure... Kevan Barlow will never be putting his shoes under my bed.
