Who's The Mvp So Far?

There are some worthy candidates for the MVP awards, Peyton Manning and Ladainian Tomlinson are the definitely frontrunners. Who do you think has been the best in the game so far and who do you think will emerge by the end of the season?

Right now, as good as Manning has been, I've still got to go with LT. He's been phenomenal, and he's breaking records left and right. He should break Alexander's rushing TD record this season, too, and when he's finally done, I wouldn't be surprised if we're calling him the best RB ever. Tomlinson definitely gets my nod for MVP.

I don't have any problems with giving another one to Peyton Manning.

I hate to agree, cause I am a big, big Peyton fan...but LT is in his own world right now...one in which LJ and Alexander can only visit...

I think the kid has stamped his ticket to Canton and onto some All-Tiem great teams...

I don't think you can give it to anybody else other than LT. He is having an unbelievable season so far.

Re: Who's The Mvp So Far?

This is an easy one, have to agree with evryone else, LT rocks. May well become the beat ever.
I heard Skip Ballless, on ESPN Cold Pizza, say that he thought OJ was better than LT, and the best RB ever...
I'm I the only one out here that would just love to shove a pie (of the cow type) in this guys face. I only reason I watch this rube because I love Woody Paige.

Thank you for the welcome. I plan to stick around for a while. I like all sports, but the Reds and Cavs are the only teams I am passionate about.

I was wondering about his HOF chances as well. I think he will get in on an unanimous first ballot. I was just wondering about the criteria to get in. In baseball, I know you are supposed to play for at least 10 years as a criteria. Are there any such rules to get into Canton?? I would like to see when he makes each if there are any.

Re: Who's The Mvp So Far?

How about Drew Brees for MVP? His stats are great but even more important than that is his importance to his team. He carries the Saints week after week and I believe the Saints would have 3 wins at best without Brees.
