Election Night Question: What current NFL player or coach would make a good politican

Okay, in honor of the elections, who playing or coaching would make a good politican?

Often times sports and politcs cross...Steve Largent, Kemp, Watts...all football players...anyone out there with the skill set or the popularity?

This is a place for sports, not politics.

I think that Chad Pennington could make a strong candidate, considering he is supposably a smart cookie.

Bill Belechik would be the perfect politician, as no one would ever get a straight answer out of him. As for any current players. They would elect Brady right now in New England for whatever he ran for.

Why does everyone suddenly love Tom Brady?

How is his academical background? Even though he is a quarterback, that doesn't mean that he was an A+ student.

Bellichick wouldn't be a good politican because he's not likeable. He would snap at the media.

How about Peyton Manning? Seems to be well spoken, charasmatic, personable, and we know from the way he runs the Colts offense that he's good at micromanaging and is excellent at thinking on his feet.

When has everybody not been in love with Brady? He is the sports media's poster boy for anything they want to promote. Anytime they talk about good guys in sports his name is the first to pop up. Somebody must love this guy to plaster him everywhere.

Also I think Tiki Barber is headed for a political career.

Naw, Barber will go into TV and maybe acting first...always a spring board into politics these days...
