Re: Election Night Question: What current NFL player or coach would make a good polit Jay Feely, that guy does everything outside of kicking, he's on TV, he's on talk shows. He kicks a few big kicks, retires from football for politics, and gets the huge New York vote. Definetely politician material....

Re: Election Night Question: What current NFL player or coach would make a good polit Only if you are into 6'5" Qbs with laser-rocket arms...the guy seems bright enough and keeps his image clean...he would do well...especially if he goes back to New Orleans and cleans up the politcal mess down there...

Re: Election Night Question: What current NFL player or coach would make a good polit Manning also graduated from UT in 3 years, can't remember what field his degree was in, just always remembered that. How about Ryan Fitzpatrick back up Rams QB, he went to Harvard or Eric Johnson TE for the 49'ers, he went to Yale & seems to stay out of trouble. Probably a few more Ivy League guys in the league who are smart & might make good politicians

Re: Election Night Question: What current NFL player or coach would make a good polit Peyton Manning could easily win a congressional seat in Louisiana. Heath Schuler just won a seat in North Carolina in November and he was a terrible quarterback. Tiki Barber is a natural for politics too.
