After reading some of the posts in the most underrated category I was curious to see some of your lists for ovverated. Curious because it seems that because teams win a lot of players are masked to what kind of players they really are. So I'm just going to clarify....by ovverated I don't mean whos a bad player, I mean who gets a lot of pub and 'cred' who really dosnt deserve it and who really is not as good as everyone thinks. Heres my list:

1. Steve Smith (Car)
2. Kyle Orton
3. Brett Favre
4. Brian Urlacher
5. Matt Forte
6. Reggie Bush
7. Mike Vick
8. Matt Cassel
9. Devin Hester (as a WR)
10. Terrell Owens

I vote for Flacco. For all his hype, the Ravens are still 3rd in the AFC-N. Granted Baltimore and Pittsburgh still have both of their matches to settle, but you'd think for how much Baltimore loves this guy they could at least be leading their division.

Great topic Johnny! I highlighted the 3 names I disagreed with. The rest of your list I either agree or cannot disagree.

Favre is one of the greatest QBs to play the game and he has won with either less than average or very average supporting cast over the years. Injuries kept him from leading the Jets to the playoffs late last season.

Urlacher, when healthy, is one of the hardest hitting linebackers in the NFL today. Problem with him, he has been hurt a lot the last couple years.

Matt Forte is a great running back but the offensive line has not been very good for the Bears this season so far plus with Cutler now as QB, Bears have been throwing the ball a lot. Unstoppable last season.

My top 10 overrated and assuming we are talking about current NFL players?

01) Jay Cutler - 5 interceptions the other night...Bears have losing record.
02) Matt Cassel - Sure not having the success he did for Patriots in 2008.
03) Damlien Tomlinson - Should have benched him 2 years ago.
04) Matt Hasselback - horrible QB on the road
05) Roy Williams - Has never lived up to expectations. Not even starting.
06) Michael Vick - He really wasn't that good before he went to prison
07) Knowshown Moreno - High 1st RD draft Pick, hasn't lived up to hype.
0 Terrell Owens - Always has been overrated and overpaid
09) Matthew Stafford - High 1st RD Pick. Detroit Lion QB curse continues.
10) Jake Delhomme & Steve Smith (tie) They both should be benched.

Terrel Owens definitely, but I think he's over anyway. To big of a whiner!
