I know he is the reigning MVP, but it seems when anyone talks about elite QBs people only talk about Brady and now Brees, I never hear about Manning in these discussions anymore. I still consider him a top tier QB, I do not understand the lost love for P.Manning

I got pretty close to muting the TV hearing those dimwits keep on referring to him as "The Sheriff." Before yesterday I have never heard him referred to as that... was it a case of the announcers coming up with a nickname and then trying to get it to stick by repeating it 50 times? Can we say annoying?

We can definitely say annoying. I didnt watch the whole game last night, just the start but I intensely dislike those dimwits. They were the same way about Tom Brady last week and he was playing rusty.
Actually, I did mute it a couple of times last week.

No, he isnt as flashy as some of the young quarterbacks in the league is he?
No blondes on his arm or gorgeous models, no getting involved in off field antics, just a good quarterback and a decent guy.
I do love those commercials he does for directv though. I even like the ones with his little brother.
And the Pats did have a perfect season not so long ago.
Colts have been slipping. But Peyton is still Peyton.

You May Have Some Younger Qb Out There And Peyton Isn't As Young As Some .the Colts Have A Different Coach Too. I Still Believe You Couldn't Find A Qb That Works Any Harder Than Peyton. Plus He And His Brother Are Stand Up Guys. He May Have Slowed Down A Bit But Losing His Edge No Not Yet.
