Last Sunday With No NFL

Well today will be the last Sunday without any NFL action for the next 21 or so weeks. That's pretty amazing when you think about it. This coming week is one of the great times in American sports (along with this past week with College Football, opening day in MLB and all the playoffs).

But enough of that, it's time for football now

Re: Last Sunday With No NFL

football is truly the greatest sport

i can watch any team play

i could sit through a Lions 49ers game

and all the games have so much meaning unlike the rest of the sports

hell, in every other sport, if you srop 10 games youre still ok

Seriously...my whole life changes when the NFL season is over. I don't feel the same, don't act the same, I dunno I just love football. Waking up every SUnday knowing you have hours of entertainment ahead of you.

Re: Last Sunday With No NFL

You look forward to the games throughout the week.

Just like the ESPN commercials you start to ask, "Is it Monday, yet?"

Re: Last Sunday With No NFL

Welcome PaulGuenther to the forums, there should be TONS of great football talk over the next 5+ months.

I share your same sentiments about NFL season too. Even though I'm a big baseball fan, the end of football season just leaves a dent that isn't replaced until now.

But damn those bye weeks, lol.
