The Boys dont have to pass a lot. We have two darn good tight ends for running the two tight end set that we have been running a lot more. And what about our backfield? The Cowboys will be a run first team. That takes pressure off Romo and the receivers. Reports from training camp say Romo has been spreading the ball around a lot. If Williams isnt open he looks elsewhere. What's wrong with the defense? We still have the best pass rusher in the league, Ware. The secondary has been beefed up with Sensabaugh, who with Hamlin, are holding their own so far in camp. 6-10???? No way.

| Re: Redskins: is this the year? Actually the Redskins are set with very good receivers. Moss and Randle-El are capable of making great plays at any given time. And the owner is far from stupid. He's just another owner who wants to win. There's nothing wrong with that. If anybody has worries about this coming season it's Dallas. They've got a decimated defense and no go to receiver. Romo ran their best receiver out of town so now there will be even more pressure on him to make plays. Which we all know he won't do in any big game Dallas plays. |

And as for the boys not having a go-to reciever? You kiddin? When you throw in Roy Williams, who is only two years removed from a 1,310 yard season, you know you have some good players... Williams is great when he can stay healthy, and now that he's had a year to get the system, I promise you he'll produce more than Moss or Randle-El do next season! Another thing you have to throw in is another 1,000+ yards available now that cancer T.O. is gone... so that should pad the numbers of consistent Crayton, and Williams for sure! And don't get on Tony Romo til Washington has a QB better than my man Brunell! |

| Re: Redskins: is this the year? First of all Santana Moss is better than average. Just putting that out there before I go onto the Cowboys. 6-10 is probably a little too much there. I say they will at least have a winning or even record, maybe 9-7. Like Bette said, they will be doing run plays much more putting pressure off Romo and all the other receivers. Will it relieve all the pressure? No. In fact I think they will go 3-5 at the half before they turn it around. It will take time for the Cowboys to get used to their new style of play. To be fair though Bette, their running game isn't THAT good. They have Marion Barber and Felix Jones mainly. Marion Barber is a great RB, he is one of my favorites. Throw him into an offense where they give him the ball more than 2/3 of the time and his stats drop. Especially with a safety that I am SURE will be looking run coverage over pass coverage. Last year Marion Barber's rushing yards dropped from '07, but his receiving yards went from 282 to 417. That was with the passing Cowboys. Felix Jones will not be that good playing for a team where the defense is expecting run. They will win games. Despite losing T.O., Romo is a good QB. Williams and Witten are good receivers. I just think it will take time for the whole team to get used to the new style of play they have. The style of play where there is no real go to receiver and the run is more common. It will be a similar road for the Giants. The only difference is the Giants will be more ready for it and will take the division with ease!
