| FSU hires specialist to oversee academics TALLAHASSEE - Florida State, which in the wake of an academic misconduct case has attempted to strengthen and improve the way university employees assist athletes, has hired Bill Shults to be the new director of its Athletics Academic Support Program. Interim athletics director Bill Proctor announced the hiring. Shults, who will start in late February, will come to FSU from Florida International, where he oversaw NCAA compliance. | Re: FSU hires specialist to oversee academics I think this would be an easy fix. If they become ineligible, they immediately lose their scholarship, and the school would lose it as well. See how long they compete without all their scholarships. |
