| FSU's Lee not enrolled in classes A week full of comings and goings for the Florida State football team ended with uncertainty relating to one high-profile player. Backup quarterback Xavier Lee was not enrolled for the second semester of classes as of Friday according to two athletic department sources. Lee worked out with his teammates during the week, and met with offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher where the subject of moving to a new position — possibly tight end — was discussed. But one source said Lee's status Friday had nothing to do with any discussion about his role on the football field. Lee did not participate in the Music City Bowl for undisclosed reasons after finishing second to Drew Weatherford with 972 passing yards and eight total touchdowns during the regular season. The redshirt junior started three games, but missed two because of unexcused absences from class. Tallahassee Democrat - www.tallahassee.com - Tallahassee, FL.
