Seminoles extend Hamilton's contract

TALLAHASSEE - Leonard Hamilton, who will begin his sixth season as the Florida State men's basketball coach tonight when the Seminoles host Nicholls State, received on Thursday a two-year contract extension.

Hamilton's contract had been due to expire in 2010, but FSU President T.K. Wetherell announced that Hamilton's contract will now run through the 2011-12 season.
