FSU defense

In two scrimmages, the first-team Florida State Seminoles defense has given up big plays early, and that has coaches concerned. "Defense, you've got to come out the first of the game," Bobby Bowden told the official FSU website on Aug. 18. "You can't spot people two touchdowns." Added Defensive Coordinator Mickey Andrews, ""We've just got to be more disciplined. We can't be successful if we're giving up long plays." Any reason to be overly concerned here?

DAY ELEVEN: Defense Comes Out And Establishes Itself In Second Scrimmage :: Weatherford throws for two TD's and De'Cody Fagg continues to shine for the offense.

Re: FSU defense

The defense continued to play well yesterday, according to the FSU website. They shut down the first-team offense on the first two series of the game. Maurice Harris had five tackles and an interception, and Derek Nicholson also added five tackles. Paul Griffin, Justin Mincey, Andre Fluellen, Letroy Guion, Eli Charles and Everett Brown all had sacks. Is the defense ready for Clemson?

DAY THIRTEEN: Defense Continues To Shine As Football Holds Its Last Full Scrimmage :: Blocked field goal for a TD and 53-yard field goal are just a few of the big highlights.

Re: FSU defense

We've had some problems coming out with that killer instinct. Its when our (defense) backs are against the wall that we respond
