Among the highlights of yesterday's practice was some excellent play in the passing game. According to Seminoles.com, "The quarterbacks and receivers had one of their best periods so far working on timing and routes earning a lot of praise from offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher. Drew Weatherford connected with Richard Goodman, Brandon Paul and De'Cody Fagg. Xavier Lee hit Shaw and Bert Reed while D'Vontrey Richardson hit Greg Carr and Rod Owens. Christian Ponder completed a nice pass to Damon McDaniel."

Good sign for things to come, eh, Florida State fans?

Things have started out kind of rough for the QBs, but they're progressing and thats the important thing. We have so many talented WRs, i dont know which will be starting come Aug. 3rd.

Hey, welcome to GTG - so which of these QBs have you been most impressed with?

To be honest, none really. It seems though Drew has been the more consistent one. Lee's still floating the ball which isnt good, but he you cant expect him to fix a 2 year problem in a few days. We dont really need a Heisman QB to win, just someone who wont make mistakes and can deliver the ball when needed. As long as Drew can cut down the mistakes, and get the ball to the playmakers, i think our offense will do great.
