The Florida State women's basketball team, fresh off its 72-53 win at Boston College in the ACC opener, will host Miami Sunday, January 7th at 2 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Center. FSU enters the game at 12-3 overall and 1-0 in ACC play while the Hurricanes visit Tallahassee with a 9-7 record and a 0-1 mark in the league. All kids 18 and under will be admitted free to the game with a paying adult as part of the NCAA's "Take a Kid to a Game" promotion. Also, the first 1,000 fans will receive team trading cards courtesy of Sun Sports, in which the game will be televised on, and FSN Florida and there will be an autograph session with the entire team following the game.

The Florida State women's basketball team earned its third straight win and its third straight win over Miami with a 71-62 victory over the Hurricanes Sunday afternoon in ACC action at the Donald L. Tucker Center. FSU was led by senior Alicia Gladden who had 18 points and improved to 13-3 overall and 2-0 in ACC play while Miami fell to 9-8 and 0-2.
