okay here's my beef - I went to the Panthers main site to check on a name on their roster and I get this home page shot of Kelli - she's a bleach blond cheerleader who blogs on the Fla. site about:
"the competitive audition process, the harshness of boot camp, and making the team once again".
Now I sort of ranted about this on the Leafs thread - ranted isn't correct because it's not like I went CRAZY - but I ask you: is this what has become of NHL hockey in the states? A blog by Kelli? It's so wrong on so many levels - no Canadian team needs cheerleaders, for one. Does that really improve the game down there? Can't women try to maintain their dignity while enjoying the great game?
And when you get the Florida home page, shouldn't it be highlighting their newest acquisition, their most recent signing or maybe their new schedule, interviews with some veterans - something to do with HOCKEY? Tell us how Zednik's doing, what's life going to be like without Jokinen - how about the possibility of McCabe coming in soon?
