| Panthers sign Keaton Ellerby According to the Associated Press, "The Florida Panthers on Thursday agreed to terms with defenseman Keaton Ellerby, their first-round pick in 2007, on a three-year contract... Selected 10th overall, the 19-year-old Ellerby played in 53 games with the Moose Jaw Warriors of the Western Hockey League last season, collecting two goals and 21 assists with a plus-6 rating."
